Responding to the Coronavirus advice from the Government is an obligation on all schools in England and the safety and wellbeing of pupils, staff and their families is a priority for our school. The development of the NHS ‘Track and Trace’ scheme is key part of the government plan to manage Coronavirus. If you are visiting the school, please make yourself familiar with the below documents and complete the short questionnaire.
We are very excited about welcoming the children back to school on Thursday 3rd September. All children will be starting on that day and drop off and pick up times will be as normal. All parents and carers must read the document below as it outlines the new routines and arrangements for drop off and pick up along with many other important messages. Have a great last few days of the holidays and see you all soon.
Hope you are having a relaxing holiday. Below is a link to the school Risk Assessment document for fully reopening the school in September – please read through it when you have time. Later in August, I will send out a document explaining drop off and collection arrangements, homework etc. Thanks again for your continued support.
Hope you are all well. Below is the Wider Opening Document that outlines the school’s opening proposals for Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 6. We are planning to open to pupils the week beginning 8th June. We are unable to open week beginning 1st June as we want to ensure the appropriate risk assessments are in place and cleaning, planning and training is thoroughly undertaken to ensure everyone is as safe as possible when school reopens to more children. The Wider Opening Document is very detailed but I wanted parents and carers to be fully informed before making the decision to send their children to school. A member of staff will contact parents/carers of children in the year groups eligible to attend on Tuesday or Wednesday to find out if their children will be in school week beginning the 8th June. Take care everyone and hopefully we will see many of you soon.
