Our School Uniform

We believe a uniform gives a child a sense of identity, pride and belonging. All children should wear our school uniform everyday. If you would like a copy of the School Uniform Policy please contact the School Office.

The school colour is royal blue and the uniform consists of:

  • Grey/black trousers or a skirt
  • White polo shirt (*£7)
  • Royal blue sweatshirt or cardigan (*£8, £8.50)
  • Black shoes
  • Blue checked dresses – summer uniform for girls (optional)

(* available from office)

Please note shoes with high heels or platform soles are not suitable for health and safety reasons.

 PE Clothes

We also have a PE uniform which is available from the office.

  • White t-shirt (*4)
  • Blue Shorts (*£4)
  • Slip on sandshoes

In some PE lessons, such as dance or gymnastics children may need to work in bare feet.

Please make sure all items of school uniform are clearly marked with your child’s name.

Jewellery

Children should not wear jewellery or bring personal property to school, unless permission has been given by the class teacher or Head Teacher (small studs only). The school will accept no responsibility for any lost or damaged property. In keeping with County and National guidelines, we do not allow children to wear earrings during PE and swimming lessons. Please arrange for your child not to wear them on the days when they have these activities. Alternatively, children can remove and replace their own earrings and bring a suitable container in which to store them. It must be noted that staff are not allowed to do this.  As with all matters, it is the safety of your own and other children that is our major concern.

Children in KS2 can wear a watch for school.
